SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
The client

The client is a bespoke fashion retailer specialising in contemporary and classic designs. 

The work

The work began as content creation for social media posts, but has subsequently expanded to include email campaigns, updating of websites, print communication and logo redesign, branding material and print media. The various communication and marketing channels lacked design consistency so a large part of this work has been to create synergy and connection.

Social media communication strategy
We worked to update her content inline with current best practice. We moved significantly away from a catalogue approach, to communicate her key differentiating factors. Through time spent with the client, I identified core values and adjusted and expanded her content to reflect this. We highlighted core values, developed a fuller image of her ideal customer and target market, identified  needs and worked to meet them.
Story-telling is a key part of brand communication, and showing the human side of the business. Whilst the client is adverse to being the face of the business, she has a very strong, personal connection to her clients, and many have remained loyal clients over the years. Through more subtle means, I have slowly brought her back into the content, using testimonials, personal messages from her, as well as the simple  trick of including her name in copy.
Email marketing campaigns

Email communication remains an important marketing strategy as it helps to maintain connection with potential and loyal customers. This is essential for sales. Previous email communication was not aligned with the brand, so these have been updated to ensure the look remains clean, classic and contemporary.

Print media & branding

A small part of the project entails designing marketing and branding materials.
